Congratulations on reaching v0.1 (I'm a bit late but hey)π. Super happy to see this game growing one update after another!
I'm in love with your pixel art work, the castle looks so good and colorful, the tiles have a retro feels to them that I find really charming! On top of that, the new queen looks GORGOUS and really charismatic, I like her alreadyπ I don't know if this was intentionnal or not but the guard saying "Being a royal guard is really boring" still have the interaction with the previous queen.
One of the new companions seems strangely familiarπ€ Thanks for that easter egg, it was super cute!
Thanks a lot (and that's okay)! It's nice to have ya along for the ride, Poulet. π
I'm really glad you like the art so far! Yes, I think her new look suits her much better, too. π Nonono that should be changed, but I appreciate the reminder! Most of the old dialogue will be rewritten/rerecorded in future updates.
Thought you'd recognise him! π You're welcome! Since you've been so supportive of me and this game, I figured you deserved a special cameo.
How has your break from development been going? Playing any cool games at the moment?
Its going alright I guess but it's harder than I thought haha! Can't help myself but to brainstorm ideas for my next projectπ
Well I bought Quest Master which just came out a few days ago in early access on Steam, its like a Mario Maker but for creating Zelda type dungeons. Pretty fun, love the art style and the music! Also recently played through Minami Lane, my god this game is so cute! What about you, any cool games or suggestions?
I know the feeling. π But it's important to pace yourself!
I saw Quest Master on Steam recently too! The Mario Maker aspect appeals to me, cuz I love games with level editors, so I might try it out at some point. This is the first time I've heard of Minami Lane, but you're right about its cuteness! Guess that's another game I gotta put on my wishlist...
Ehhh... I recently bought two games: Obscure and Kenshi. They both have potential for me, but I haven't taken the time to play them much yet. I would say that I'm too busy working on stuff to play them, but I play Luck Be A Landlord and Golf with Your Friends on my off time so... they just haven't grabbed me yet it seems.
Haha! Yeah, you're definitely right about that!
For Quest Master, there is a demo available if you ever want to test it out, the devs also annonced a complete overworld/campaign editor as an update after the full version is released, really hyped about that. Yes games with level editor are awesome, and they are even better when they are fun and easy to use, almost feeling like a game in itselfπ€©
I haven't played either one but I heard a lot of good things about Kenshi, even though it seems really unforgivingπ Well, it happens, but one day, out of the blue, they'll maybe become you're new addiction!
That's a good idea! It's always nice when games have demos. True, it's like you're making a game, but without all the hard work. π
I wanted to try Obscure since it's an older game and it plays similarly to Resident Evil. And Kenshi intrigues me so far, but it'll take some time to figure out what I'm doing, since it's pretty intricate (and yes, unforgiving). Also true! Interesting how that works, isn't it?
By the way, isn't it like 2:20AM for you right now? π€
