If you like heroic fantasy stories, episodic adventures and whacky humour, then you may be interested in my upcoming project!

-"WHAT IS THE PROJECT?"-

It's gonna be a medieval fantasy RPG spread out across multiple episodes contained in one game with a focus on storytelling, and will be inspired by things like:

• Dragon Age: Origins
• The Bone series by Jeff Smith
• And possibly Star Wars too... we'll see!

-PLANNED FEATURES-

• Exciting and goofy stories about fun characters who face off against the forces of evil!
• A main quest with at least 1 optional side quest per episode!
  
• Choice-based mechanics that can alter what happens in each story!
• Turn-based battles with a variety of enemy types and monsters!
• Custom art for character sprites, busts, battlers and map tilesets!
• Secret areas for players to discover and find special items!
• Builds for Windows, Mac and HTML!
• And more...

-DEVELOPMENT-

The plan is to make an episode a month throughout 2024 for a total of 12 episodes with self-contained stories in each and 1 overarching story across ALL episodes.

I wanna develop the project in an RPG Maker engine. Likely MZ as it facilitates my ideas very well, and also allows me to make a web build for the player's convenience.

-"CAN YOU ACTUALLY DO THIS?"-

Well, I guess we're gonna find out! I may not be the smartest or most experienced game developer around, but I'm still willing to take a chance on this idea!

Maybe it'll all fall apart and I'll just make a fool of myself in the end, but ya know what? I'd rather try and fail than never try at all!

-"WHEN DOES EPISODE 1 COME OUT?"-

Episode 1 will be released on February 1, 2024! Mark it on the calendar, so you can yell at me later if I miss the deadline! 📅
